Dr Phil Ridden is an author of books on education and leadership for school teachers and principals, books on faith and Christianity for Christians and enquirers, and a book on buying, selling and moving home.


His career in education included teacher, curriculum writer and consultant, professional development consultant, deputy principal and principal, executive and non-executive member of boards, conference speaker and author. He has received several fellowships, life memberships and leadership awards, has a doctorate in education, and is a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors.


He has also been active in church life, and, he and his wife have  been volunteer foster carers of infants for 25 years.


And now, in semi-retirement, he is:

  • Director, and Convenor of the Joint Governance & HR Committee, and Convenor of the Joint Futures Committee,       at Kennedy Baptist College and Mandurah Baptist College

  • Director of Hearing Research & Support Foundation

  • Director of Esther Foundation

  • Author, Presenter, Consultant, Mentor 

  • Volunteer foster parent of infants for the WA Department of Communities.​

  • Regularly invited worship leader and preacher at several local churches.​
