He needs help to walk now, Father.
He had a walking stick for a while.
Now he uses a frame to
alert him to obstacles which would trip him up;
assist him to maintain his balance over difficult terrain;
steady him when he feels uncertain;
help him to carry his baggage;
lean on when he is tired.
I need help in my walk too, Father—
my faith walk.
I need you to
alert me to obstacles which would trip me up;
assist me to maintain my balance over difficult circumstances;
steady me when I feel uncertain;
help me to carry my baggage and burdens;
lean on when I am tired.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11: 28, NIV)
